IKEA

No, this isn't really about IKEA. Let me explain. This Sunday, we took Kathy to the American Girl Doll Store in Atlanta, GA for Kathy's birthday. It was tons of fun! Sarah Mary, and I all took our old dolls and we had a party! We had lunch there, and our dolls got there own chairs and everything! Kathy was thrilled. It was a total surprise for her. She thought we were going furniture shopping at IKEA. Haha. Then she got to pick out stuff for her birthday present from the three girls. Mom and Sarah snuck away to buy a surprise present for Kathy to actually open on her birthday. What a thought. :) That is traditionally how it's done, is it not?

Who has seen X-men? (if you haven't, you need to.) :) Who likes Wolverine/Hugh Jackman? Who knew he sang?!?! We made this discovery a few months ago when we saw X-Men Origins: Wolverine. (No, he doesn't sing in there, but we researched him after we saw that.) Who knew he sings the lead character, Curly, in the 1999 Broadway Production of Oklahoma?!?! We are about halfway through, and it is really fun. For a musical and a Western, it's probably the best I've seen. (Sorry, John Wayne, Rio Bravo is definitely next.) It's three hours long, and a little slow, but again, for a western and a musical it isn't bad. Curly definitely beats Troy Bolton any day. (Sorry, all you HSM fans out there.) Anyway, we're only at the beginning of Act II, but I really like it so far. Maybe we could watch it some time with the afore mentioned friends-of-20+-years. when we get to see them again. :( I think they're the only people that read my blog anymore. I don't even know if they read it anymore.*sigh*. If this is an incorrect assumption, please comment and tell me otherwise. Happy Labor Day Weekend, again.

So....it's been two weeks since I posted. So.....nothing much has been happening. So.....Any ideas for a brilliant post? So......no school on Labor Day. YAY!! So...some people who had been our friends for 20+ years now turned a visit from us down this weekend so they could paint their living room WITHOUT US!!!!! Maybe we'll decide to speak to them again when we cool off. Maybe. Have a happy Labor Day Weekend, all you people who read this!
