Today is Pi day!!!! YAY!!! I think we should eat something special in honor of the day. Celebrations are all about food, right? I might do some math, too. (even though it's Sunday.) I think someone (hint, hint) should make a pie in a certain pi plate, devour it, and then post pictures on her blog depicting the whole event. :) Don't forget to set your clocks ahead!! :)
hey everybody...so it's snowing again here...camera battery is currently dead...working on it. Stephen and Emilie are here and I'll try to post pics as soon as i can take them. :)
So, even though I'm posting, there's really not that much to say. I've been doing school like crazy because Stephen's coming tomorrow and staying for the week! YAY! I finished my math book today...exciting, right? I'll try to post pictures of Stephen's visit as they come. yeah, that's about it...what's up with you?
Yep, it's snowing again. I wonder where Al Gore and his theories of global warming are now...hmm obviously not in Chattanooga. This winter has been the coldest since like, 1993. (According to Wikipedia, anyway...which I don't trust.) But, seriously, it's been REALLY COLD!!! We have also had a large amount of snow ALREADY this year...and now we're adding to it. I think I'm ready for summer, though. :)
Valentine's Day, as you all know, is this Sunday. On Monday, Peter and his class at CC get to dissect a cow heart in honor of the holiday. I know, unfair right? We don't even get to do experiments in our class, and he gets to dissect a COW HEART!! I'm not jealous, though, because there's something in the Bible about that. :) So what are your plans for Valentine's Day?
I hate apathy. It's technically defined as "a supression of emotion". To me, it means not trying to live every moment to its fullest, treating every day as a gift from God, unique, once-in-a-lifetime. Today is never going to happen again. You may have a similar day, but no day is identical. You will never have another February 5th, 2010. You can't go back and change what you did...or left undone.
I hate feeling indifferent. Come on people, wake up! This is the life God gave you to live! Live it with the wonder and awe of a child of Light; a child of God. That is what we are, and yet we so are so often apathetic. It's so easy to drift from day to day, going through the motions of living. We should live every day as if it were our last, and planning as though our world will last for a hundred years.
