Long time, no post, I know. I'm gonna see if I can/remember to post a real Merry Christmas post tomorrow. We failed to have a photo shoot in the snow, but Kathy and I are cooking up some new ideas...we're planning on doing an *elaborate* photo shoot on Saturday or Sunday...after Mom and Dad leave. :) This afternoon, Dad's father and step-mom are coming to our house for a fancy Christmas Eve dinner. We did a big fancy meal last Thanksgiving with them, but when Thanksgiving week rolled around this year, Mom (in her words) "couldn't pull herself together" to do it. So, it was postponed to today. We are going to gorge ourselves with delicious food at around 4:00, and then we shall adjourn to our church for the candlelight Christmas Eve service. Somewhere in there Kevin will arrive from Knoxville. It's our first Christmas ever without Stephen. :( It makes me sad. To make matters worse, I know what pretty much everyone is getting me for Christmas. Some people like knowing, but I am not one of them. Oh, well. Anyway, the kitchen is summoning me to work. Fun...

What visit?!?! The only people I know of who are visiting anyone is Mom and Dad and they're going to Montana...our Grandma's 'visiting' with us while they're gone. What are your plans for post-Christmas cheer?...

My new favorite quote :)
"Most people, if they have really learned to look into their own hearts, would know that they do want, and want acutely, something that cannot be had in this world. There are all sorts of things in this world that offer to give it to you, but they never quite keep their promise."
